Hitachi Raises Money for the Humpty Dumpty Foundation at City2Surf 2014
The world’s largest run, the City2Surf recently took place on Sunday 10th August with more than 80,000 participants pounding Sydney’s pavement to raise money for charity. The City2Surf is 14km in distance, beginning in Sydney’s CBD and finishing at Bondi Beach. Along the way, participants head through the Kings Cross tunnel, Rose Bay and then must tackle ‘Heartbreak Hill’ before reaching the finish line at Sydney’s iconic Bondi Beach.
This year 68 participants from across four Hitachi Group companies took part in the City2surf as Team Hitachi to raise money and much needed equipment for The Humpty Dumpty Foundation.
To date, over $19,000 has generously been donated to Team Hitachi, exceeding our goal of $6,500! Thank you to everyone who donated and supported our team in this year’s City2Surf. Donations are still being accepted - if you would like to donate to Team Hitachi, simply click on the link below within the next two weeks.
Congratulations and thank you to the participants who represented HCA.
