Quarrying With Precision
HCA showcases at Precisioncreen Open Day
Crushing and screening equipment supplier and manufacturer, Precisionscreen, hosted an inaugural invitation only event for over 300 customers at the Nucrush Quarry on the Gold Coast on May 3rd to 5th.
The three-day event proved both entertaining and informative with delegates experiencing live machine demonstrations and professional training in conjunction with the Institute of Quarrying Australia.
Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) was invited to partner in the event and showcase a select range of its excavators and wheel loaders alongside Precisionscreen’s and Sandvik’s new mobile crushing and screening equipment.
A Hitachi ZX330 excavator fitted with the new Rammer 3288S hammer attachment demonstrated its capabilities in a secondary breaking application within the quarry. A ZX470LCH excavator was used to feed a Sandvik QJ351 jaw crusher whilst a John Deere 744K wheel loader was used in the operating display area cleaning up and carting materials to ensure product was available for the other working demonstrations.
HCA had a number of other machines featured on static display including the John Deere 326D skid steer loader that was positioned under a Sandvik screening plant as part of a clean-out scenario. John Deere and Hitachi wheel loaders of various sizes were also made available on the static site supporting everything from Batch Plant operation to multi-tasking site application.
HCA is proud of this unique opportunity to partner with Precisionscreen and Sandvik. The event was a major success attracting both interstate and international interest. HCA looks forward to future opportunities to partner with Precisionscreen and Sandvik.
