Sun City Plumbing

The largest plumbing solutions provider in Western Australia

Western Australian firm Sun City Plumbing, has recently cut its teeth in the demanding conditions of Western Australia’s North West resources sector and is ready to take on opportunities in the emerging Mid West mining industry with the help of Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia.

Founded in 2000 by Managing Director Mick Chester, the business has grown to be one of the largest plumbing providers in the Mid West region.
“We have worked hard to develop a complete plumbing solution for our clients, from camp installations to minor earthworks and mine site maintenance,” said Mick. “We are committed to acquiring the best equipment so we can provide the most efficient services possible. We are continuously growing our fleet of vehicles, machinery and equipment to match a growing demand.”

Sun City Plumbing operates fourteen Hitachi excavators ranging from the ZX17U to the ZX330. Their fleet of construction machinery also includes a ZW180 Hitachi wheel loader and two John Deere skid steer loaders. This machinery in total makes up 80% of their construction machinery fleet and is used across a broad spectrum of work ranging from small plumbing maintenance jobs to large mining construction jobs in the Pilbara and beyond.

As the Mid West’s largest plumbing solutions provider, Sun City Plumbing has worked on projects at Argyle Diamond Mine and various mines through the Pilbara and Mid West on both Rio Tinto and BHP sites.
