Hitachi Parts Online
Availability and pricing when you need it 24/7
Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia Pty Ltd (HCA) launched in April this year, a new way to order machine parts, with the new Parts Online portal.
The online program is designed to save time on ordering, show parts availability, quick access to pricing and manage quotes directly. Assured to service a range of customers currently operating machinery from Hitachi and Bell in Australia.
Since its launch, customer feedback has been received on the user experience allowing HCA to make further enhancements to ensure the system is easier and faster to use. Dave Collings, HCA’s National Manager for Parts and Service Strategy, ‘is confident it will continue to strengthen the relationship between HCA and existing customers by creating greater and more efficient access to supply.’
“The enhancements recently made to the system, were implemented to improve the overall customer experience,” said Dave.
The following features can be accessed as a user of the portal:
- Ability to automatically upload parts using a CSV file – saves time and avoids having to double enter the order.
- New “express order“ button – simply type in the known part numbers and order immediately without browsing catalogues.
- New “How to register” and help videos available to assist with system navigation, also available publically on YouTube to view.
- Expansion of the model range to now include Hitachi -5 mining excavators, Hitachi ZX400LCH-3 excavator and the Hitachi EH4000AC-3 haul truck.
“We’re also developing the system to allow our customers to view local stock availability at their local branch – and this new feature will be available shortly,” said Dave.
“We’re very pleased with the new system, at HCA we understand that our customer’s time is valuable particularly when out on site. Meeting these needs around the clock is paramount to us, providing reliable solutions is what we pride ourselves on.
“Customers can now access more than 1.9 million parts for any Hitachi or Bell machinery. The portal not only gives users the control to manage their own quotes and orders, but right down to the way they are delivered.
“The portal then generates the orders through to the national branch networks, making the process of servicing machines quicker and easier than ever before,” said Dave.
A full range of genuine parts are available to customers, including electronic parts catalogues and to further help customers navigate around the portal we have developed a series of self-help videos.
