Humpty Dumpty

The Humpty Dumpty Foundation was established by Executive Chairman Paul Francis in 1996 and since that time has grown to now having delivered in excess of $60 million of life saving medical equipment to Neonatal Units and Paediatric Wards in hospitals and health service centres across Australia. Humpty is the largest provider of children’s medical equipment in NSW, behind the NSW State Government. Over 400 hospitals have benefited through this foundation.

Our partnership with the Humpty Dumpty Foundation provides positive contributions to the communities in which we operate, and to date over 91 pieces of medical equipment with a combined value of over $560,000 have been directly purchased and donated by HCA.

We are privileged to be in a position to be able to support foundations like Humpty. Our staff are engaged at all levels including participating in hospital visits to officially recognise the delivery of the equipment, and acknowledge the valuable work undertaken by medical professionals across Australia.

Environmental Responsibility

We are focused on reducing our carbon footprint with a number of initiatives currently underway. These include projects such as lighting changes to more efficient LED products, the installation of solar power generation systems at selected locations, the move to more fuel efficient vehicles, improved waste management and where possible, introducing recycled products. We also purchase carbon credits to offset our carbon footprint produced from our vehicle usage and air travel.

All of these initiatives contribute to ensure we leave the world a better place for future generations.

Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation

In an effort to build healthier communities through awareness and sharing information, HCA support three key charities: Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, Beyond Blue and the Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation.

These foundations work to minimise three of the population’s largest killers through medical research and support programs for those affected. Whilst not all cases can be cured, awareness and early intervention can prevent loss of lives.

HCA has committed to sponsoring $10,000 to each of these charities and their endeavours to develop resources and assistance.
