HITACHI AT AIMEX 2015
Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) recently attended and sponsored AIMEX 2015 at the Sydney Olympic Showgrounds from Tuesday 1st September till Friday 4th September. Held once every two years and firmly established on the international mining industry calendar, HCA and Hitachi Limited joined forces as the main sponsor of the event.
The stand was situated in the main exhibition area of the trade show showcasing an interactive experience for visitors. With over 10,000 people visiting throughout the week, several staff members were on deck to assist with any enquiries and to firmly promote our presence within the industry.
A highlight of the stand was the Hitachi Dump Truck Simulator, built internally by Hitachi employees including the simulator software. A competition was ran for all participants who took the challenge with first prize drawn to Jeroen Hendriks from Thiess, awarded the DJI Phantom 3 Professional Drone valued at $1,950.00. Our two runners up will each receive a Hitachi EH5000AC-3 Rigid Dump Truck Scale Model valued at $396.27 each.
We had the pleasure of entertaining our customers upon a cruise ship in Sydney’s Harbour on Wednesday 2nd September. Humpty Dumpty were among guests raising over $17,500 worth of generous donations, part of which will go toward the purchase of a Connex Vital Signs Monitor for John Hunter Children's Hospital in Newcastle, NSW.
AIMEX was an opportunity for HCA and Hitachi to engage closely with mining industry buyers and specifiers from throughout the Asia-Pacific region to explore mutually beneficial business opportunities, exchange technical information and network in an interactive business environment.
