It’s common for a career to start at an apprentice level then to progress through one of the many other career path options including Service, Parts, Sales and administration.
HCA's market-leading apprenticeships run in conjunction with TAFE courses and align with the Government Australian Apprentices program.
The four year program provides training to become a Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment (HVME) Mechanic and Automotive Electrician. Apprentices will gain hands on experience and become adept at diagnostic and general maintenance to customer's equipment.
HCA's practical apprentice programs are ideal for interested school students or mature age students. The apprenticeships are available at all major HCA branches across Australia, in every state and territory.
HCA’s apprenticeship recruitment process starts in August 2020 with successful candidates commencing their employment in 2021.
The training and education strategy focus is on providing guidance on career pathways and development to suit our staff’s needs and the needs of the business.
