UPGRADE TO FIRST CLASS
Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd (HCA) announces the release of the new John Deere E-Series skid steer loaders and compact track loaders (CTLs) in the Australian market. The new models feature enhancements developed after extensive input from customers, which largely dealt with areas of the machines that improve uptime, productivity and lower daily operating costs.
The new line consists of eight models. In skid steers, there are three mid-frame models (318E, 320E, 326E) and one large-frame model (332E). In CTLs, there are two mid-frame models (319E, 323E) and two large-frame models (329E, 333E).
New standard features include connect-under-pressure auxiliary hydraulic couplers and a new programmable courtesy lighting feature that automatically shuts the machine lights off after operation, a new keyless-start feature with anti-theft and power quick tatch.
The mid-frame models have been improved to enhance performance and make the machines more versatile. The optimised boom design provides best-in-class boom and bucket breakout throughout the lift path. It also offers greater reach at truck-bed height, improved dump angle and increases lift height to the hinge pin.
The E-Series retains several customer favoured features from the D-Series, including a pressurised cab with best-in-class visibility, V-Cooling System, auto-idle to help conserve fuel and best-in-class service access. In addition, industry-leading options such as the reversing fan are now standard on all large-frame models.
The engines in all large-frame models feature cooled exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) with an exhaust filter consisting of a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) and diesel particulate filter (DCF). The machine monitor features an automatic exhaust filter cleaning mode, which manages the filter cleaning process when activated.
The new models complement the impressive range of John Deere construction equipment exclusively sold and supported nationally by HCA.
