MultiSkills Training expanding their operations to an additional facility in Geelong
Founder and CEO of MultiSkills Training Lionel Skinner noticed a growing demand for quality registered training organisations (RTOโs) to deliver the skills required to gain a start, or progress in the burgeoning Civil and Building Construction industries. With 35 yearsโ experience operating a successful commercial bricklaying business in Geelong, Lionel launched MultiSkills Training in 2011 in Werribee, Victoria to service students and clients within the Geelong and Melbourne Metro regions.

Hitachi mini excavators at the new MultSkills Training site
MultiSkills recently accepted delivery of four brand new Hitachi ZX33U-5 mini excavators bringing their current total number of Hitachi machines to 12 including 8 x ZX38U-5 excavators. Lionel and the team at MultiSkills value reliability as their machines are being used constantly for training and assessment. โThe machines are performing very well, we have had no major problems. We have a current combined total of around 30,000 operating hours across our machines.โ He also states good re-sale value and easy access to parts as major influences towards his decision to purchase Hitachi excavators.
Additionally MultiSkills Training has found HCA and sales representative Shane Hickson to be accommodating and supportive at all stages of the machine purchasing process. โWe have always found Hitachi Australia excellent to deal with, prompt to respond to any queries or quotations and delivery of machines, associated equipment and parts has always been on time as promisedโ said Lionel.
