The same people. The same promise. A new name.

RELIABILITY ENDURES

From April 2027, Hitachi Construction Machinery becomes LANDCROS — a new name, not a new company. Your team, your dealer, your service network, and your machines stay exactly as they are. Everything you rely on today continues under LANDCROS.

Built in Japan. Trusted worldwide. That doesn’t change.

75 YEARS OF ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE CONTINUES

Japanese engineering, manufacturing discipline, and an uncompromising commitment to precision — refined over 75 years. That doesn’t change with our name. Every LANDCROS machine is designed, built, and backed by the same company, factories and teams that built your last one.

The same foundation. A bigger vision for what comes next.

SOLUTIONS BEYOND MACHINERY

Becoming LANDCROS marks the beginning of a new chapter — one focused on accelerating smarter, more connected solutions for the mining and construction industries. The machines and support you rely on today remain unchanged. The ambition for tomorrow is just getting started.

APRIL 2027 — THE JOURNEY BEGINS

Hitachi Construction Machinery will become LANDCROS

For over 75 years, Hitachi Construction Machinery has stood beside our customers — through every project, every challenge, and every breakthrough. From April 2027, we carry that legacy forward under a new name: LANDCROS. The same people. The same machines. The same commitment to your success — and the beginning of an ambitious new chapter together.

Inspired By the Future

Same commitment to our customers

SOLUTIONS BEYOND MACHINERY

Ensuring a prosperous land and society for the future

Becoming LANDCROS marks the beginning of our commitment to go further for our customers. Our vision is to develop smarter, more connected solutions for the mining and construction industries — and everything we do as LANDCROS is focused on accelerating that journey. Our foundation of 75 years of engineering excellence and trusted partnerships is what makes that ambition possible.

ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE, BUILT FOR THE NEXT ERA

Brand Essence

The Meaning Behind LANDCROS

LAND reflects our purpose: to ensure a prosperous land and society for the future. CROS brings together the four values at the heart of everything we do — putting Customers first, maintaining Reliability in every machine and interaction, staying Open in how we work with partners and people, and delivering Solutions that go beyond the equipment itself. LANDCROS is a name built to mean something.

Who We Are

We are the people behind more than 75 years of Japanese engineering — the same teams, the same expertise, the same orange machines your operation depends on. LANDCROS is that identity continuing forward, with the confidence to go further.

Where We’re Headed

Our vision is simple to state and ambitious to achieve: ensure a prosperous land and society for the future. For us, that means building machinery and developing solutions that help our customers work more productively, more safely, and more sustainably — for the long term.

What Drives Us Every Day

To stand by our customers. To deliver engineering quality you can trust on every shift. To keep improving so that every machine we make, every part we supply, and every service call we answer is better than the last. LANDCROS is the name we carry that mission forward under.

How We Work

We’re a global company with local people — connected by a shared commitment to getting it right for the customer in front of us. Open to new ideas. Reliable in delivery. And proud of the heritage we bring to every job site we’re part of.

Landcros

This shows our commitment to delivering innovative solutions to every customer.

Reliability & innovation remains stronger than ever.

#01. When will the LANDCROS brand launch? LANDCROS will officially launch in April 2027. During the transition period, equipment will feature a secondary LANDCROS decal alongside the current Hitachi decals.

#02. What will change on my equipment? The engineering excellence you expect from our machines will remain the same. Our engineering and manufacturing processes will not change. After the official launch in 2027, the main visible change will be a new “LANDCROS” decal in place of the current “HITACHI” decal.

#03. Will the company structure change? No. There will be no change to the structure or organisation of our company, our parent company, or our partner companies. The change relates only to the company name and the brand on machines and parts.

Your current team, service network, and supply chain will remain in place-ensuring consistency as we move forward under the LANDCROS name.

WE'RE BUILDING THE FUTURE TOGETHER

Our future is focused on smarter, faster, and more sustainable solutions. But our foundation is-and always will be-built on trust.

#04. Will my dealer change? No. The dealer network will not be affected by the company name change. You will continue to work with the dealers vou know and trust for all current Hitachi models and future
LANDCROS equipment.

#05. Will parts and other after sales support be affected? For parts, the main change after the official launch in 2027 will be the brand name on labels and parts. Manufacturing quality and parts policies will remain the same.

#06. Will LANDCROS still be able to support Hitachi branded machines? Yes. The manufacturing structure remains the same, and the machine engineering is unchanged. LANDCROS parts, maintenance and service instructions will apply to current and future machines, including HITACHI branded equipment.

QME 2026! 🧡

Across three action-packed days in Mackay, the Hitachi | LANDCROS stand was buzzing as customers, industry partners and families got up close with our Japanese mining and construction equipment, including the mighty EX1200-7.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, climbed aboard our machines and caught up with the team. It was great connecting with everyone.

See you at the next one!
There’s only one thing better than being an operator… doing it with a view like that. 🌊

Hitachi | LANDCROS gives the precision, control and reliability RONMAC Holdings team need on this waterfront project to keep the job moving.

Proven Japanese engineering and dedicated support for a great combination of capable operators and dependable machinery.

No job too difficult with the ZX300-7 💪

Axle’s Earthmoving tackling a challenging excavation with the precision, power and reliability needed to keep the project moving.

Hitachi | LANDCROS backed by proven Japanese engineering and dedicated support, these machines are built to perform when the work gets tough.

When you've spent more than a decade in the industry, you know what good equipment feels like.

Working on stormwater infrastructure at Seaford Heights, Jesse from Tripodi Group puts the Hitachi 25-tonne zero swing excavator through its paces every day. From exceptional stability and impressive power to GPS integration and the added confidence of a zero-tail swing design, it's built to perform where precision matters most.

Safer. More capable. Japanese reliability. Ready for the job.

Hear why Jesse trusts Hitachi | LANDCROS on site.
45,000 cubic metres of sand. Four basement levels. 10 machines. One serious excavation.

Faced with the challenge of removing 45,000 cubic metres of sand from a four-level basement, RONMAC brought together the right fleet for the job – including a purpose-bought long-reach attachment fitted to a 36-tonne Hitachi excavator to reach the bottom.

Working bucket-to-bucket, the team is progressively moving material from Basement 3 all the way to the surface, where it can be loaded out.

It’s a challenging job that demands the right equipment and the right support.

We’re proud to be working alongside RONMAC and even prouder to hear their team say they’re “looking forward to doing a lot more in the future” with Hitachi.
