Diesel Dirt & Turf 2019

Now in its third year, Diesel Dirt and Turf has quickly become Australia’s biggest construction industry exhibition, with over 61,200 attendees and 200 exhibitors it isn’t hard to see why. From the 3rd through to the 5th of May 2019, visitors flocked through the gates at Penrith Panthers Exhibition Grounds despite the less than ideal weather at times. Free to attend and family friendly, the event was a chance for leading manufacturers like HCA to showcase their range of earthmoving solutions as well as a chance for customers to interact with sales representatives and find out more about the products.

The Hitachi stand featured the entire mini excavator range; ZX17U-5 ZX26U-5, ZX33U-5, ZX38U-5, ZX48U-5, ZX55U-5 and ZX65USB-5 in addition to a ZX135US-5 medium excavator and ZW250-5B wheel loader. As well as the machines, there were plenty of giveaways including stickers, Hitachi branded lollipops and kids hard hats. Other merchandise such as pens, hats and stubby coolers were available for a gold coin donation. One lucky visitor Scott won himself a brand new Hitachi 50” HDR UHD Smart TV by taking part in the jelly bean guessing competition. The money raised from this and the merchandise will go towards our ongoing support of the Humpty Dumpty Foundation.

“The Diesel Dirt and Turf expo was an excellent chance to engage with our customers face to face. The Hitachi stand was a popular visit by many existing customers as well as gaining new leads for the business over the three days.” said NSW Sales Manager, Steven Jones. Once again the event was a great success, and great opportunity to showcase our current offerings.
