ALLWORKS

Allworks WA Pty Ltd (Allworks) is an Australian family-owned business operating since 1999. Directors Angelo & Robin Sarich started out with a couple of smaller machines on a wheat belt project in South Australia, and now has expanded Allworks to over 250+ pieces of equipment Australia wide. Since then, Allworks has grown into a leading provider of machinery used for dry and wet hire along with personnel for the civil and rail industry. Continuing to expand their depots across Australia with a national footprint covering Western Australia, Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales.

The relationship between Allworks and Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd (HCA) has thrived over the years with Allworks having purchased over fifty Hitachi branded machines including wheel loaders, excavators, wheeled excavators and large quantity of specialised Hi-Rail excavators to service the rail, civil, mining and infrastructure industries nationally. The Hitachi Hi-Rail excavator is a highly sort-after machine featuring an undercarriage to work on rails enabling easy access in and around rail tracks.

Allworks credits Hitachi’s reliability, aftermarket backup service, parts availability and a long-standing relationship with Hitachi Sales Representative Dale Smulders who has been their first point of contact from day one. ‘Dale Smulders has always been accommodating, helpful and knowledgeable on products and we look forward to continuing the working relationship in the future.’ said Angelo.

The Allworks team further crediting the Hitachi Perth, Brisbane, Forrestdale, Kalgoorlie, Tom Price and Port Hedland branches for their ongoing customer support and open communication on new equipment availability and updated technologies.

Dale Smulders states, ‘HCA and Allworks have a great working relationship and I look forward to continue supporting Allworks with their rail, civil and mining requirements.’

Allworks lead the way in rail, civil & mining industries

Allworks pride themselves on their vision statement ‘On track – On time’ by providing their customers with reliable, modern machinery including their thirty Hitachi Hi-Rail Excavators which are used across Australia on rail construction and on-going maintenance projects as well as their twenty wheeled loaders and excavators used across a range of projects in civil, rail and mining industries.

‘Our vision statement ‘On Track, On Time’ drives and  guides our well-equipped organisation to operate in dynamic environments, offering customers solutions to meet project timing and budget expectations; keeping clients On Track, On Time to achieving project success’, adds Angelo.

Allworks continues to flourish, being at the forefront of new and upcoming projects across Australia. Their extensive fleet of machinery has been put to work on numerous large-scale projects including Western Australia’s Metronet project, continuous maintenance works at Rio Tinto, BHP, FMG and Roy Hill, as well as the Inland Rail project through Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.

The trust and confidence in the Hitachi brand continues to strengthen over the years, ‘We’ve used Hitachi branded equipment for many years and have been exceptionally reliable. Any issues have been rectified by the Hitachi team promptly and professionally. They understand the demands placed on our equipment and our clients, especially in rail where track time is often restricted, and windows of work are limited. Reliable machines are critical to project success’, states Allworks Manager Nick McLoughney.

As part of a global network with 24 wholly-owned national branch network, HCA is in a strong position to meet customer needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Accessible after-market back up service and a diverse range of parts availability sets Hitachi above competing brands in the Australian earthmoving equipment industry.

This week we recognised and thanked the incredible women across our business.

From workshops and mine sites to branches and offices, the leadership, capability, energy and perspective they bring every day continues to shape the future of our company.

As Ray Kitic shares in this message, our commitment goes beyond recognition. We remain focused on strengthening the pathways and opportunities that support the growth and success of women across our organisation.
Celebrating International Women’s Day

Today we recognise International Women’s Day and celebrate the contributions of women across our business and the wider construction and mining industries.

From the workshop floor and mine sites to engineering, operations, and leadership, women continue to play an important role in shaping the future of our industry.

At Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia, we’re proud to work alongside talented women across our branches, supporting innovation, capability, and progress every day.

Happy International Women’s Day!
Six years in the Army.
Now a fourth-year apprentice in Toowoomba.

Taleisha didn’t come into the trades the traditional way. After serving in the Army, she began her apprenticeship elsewhere but felt she wasn’t getting the hands-on experience needed to properly build her skills.

That changed when she joined the team.

Today her weeks can include new builds in the workshop, site work at mines, or jobs at local quarries. She works on loaders and mining equipment, services machines, installs pumps and supports major builds — backed by formal OEM training and experienced technicians around her.

Like every apprentice, she has made mistakes. On one job she damaged a seal during installation. She reported it straight away. The team worked through what happened and how to correct it.

That is how competence is built.

Six months ago, she completed her first solo service on a customer machine. It was a small milestone, but an important one — proof of progress and trust earned.

No two days look the same. That is what she values most.

Her focus now is finishing her apprenticeship and continuing her career as a tradesperson long term.

This is what development looks like:

Experience. Accountability. Support.

And technicians who are built to last.
From Trade Assistant to Apprentice Plant Mechanic 👏

At our Wacol branch, Nick is stepping into the next chapter of his journey.

Starting out as a Trade Assistant, Nick has now taken the leap into an Apprentice Plant Mechanic role - bringing hands-on experience, a strong work ethic, and a clear focus on safety.

For Nick, safety isn’t just a checklist. It’s about looking out for your team, doing the job properly, and making sure everyone goes home the way they arrived.

And he’s just getting started.

Nick is looking forward to getting up close with our mining equipment and continuing to build his skills alongside the team.

The future’s looking solid. 💪
