LANDCROS: Solutions Beyond Machinery

We are excited to announce a significant milestone in our company’s journey. For over 75 years, we have proudly served the construction and mining sectors, delivering reliable machinery, engineering excellence, and building lasting partnerships.

The construction and mining industries are entering a new era. The world demands faster, smarter, and more sustainable approaches to developing critical infrastructure and mining operations at an unprecedented scale, with fewer skilled operators, lower costs, and tighter deadlines. In this context, Hitachi Construction Machinery has chosen to reinvent itself, standing side by side with its customers and distribution partners to lead this transformation together.

As part of our ongoing evolution, Hitachi Construction Machinery will transition to our new company name – LANDCROS Corporation, effective April 2027.

LANDCROS Corporation

LANDCROS will continue as a Japanese company, with the heart of our R&D and manufacturing based in Japan. We retain all our existing capabilities and are set to strengthen them further by accelerating innovation, developing new technologies, and expanding our collaboration with key partners worldwide.

LANDCROS embodies our commitment to go beyond machinery, empowering customers with intelligent, connected, and reliable solutions. Our dedication to our customers is unwavering.

The people, products, support networks, and supply chains you have come to trust will remain unchanged. You can continue to rely on your existing support team, branch network, account contacts, and product and parts supply – all of which will operate as usual.

Our dedication to supporting you as we always have will continue under the LANDCROS name.

Dual branding will be phased out over a 12-month period following April 2027.
Orders placed after that date will be delivered as LANDCROS machines, with all products fully transitioned by April 2028.

We’ll provide additional information and updated materials closer to the changeover to make the process seamless for your business.

Thank you for your ongoing partnership and trust. We look forward to the future together as LANDCROS – a name that honours our heritage and reflects our commitment to reliability, and your continued success.

From Trade Assistant to Apprentice Plant Mechanic 👏

At our Wacol branch, Nick is stepping into the next chapter of his journey.

Starting out as a Trade Assistant, Nick has now taken the leap into an Apprentice Plant Mechanic role - bringing hands-on experience, a strong work ethic, and a clear focus on safety.

For Nick, safety isn’t just a checklist. It’s about looking out for your team, doing the job properly, and making sure everyone goes home the way they arrived.

And he’s just getting started.

Nick is looking forward to getting up close with our mining equipment and continuing to build his skills alongside the team.

The future’s looking solid. 💪
Wheel Loaders made by Japanese craftsmanship🎌the perfect way to make them.

Future legends loading… 👷‍♂️👷‍♀️🔥

Our Apprentices Induction Week was the perfect mix of learning, connection, and a bit of healthy competition.

From hands-on training with some of our best people, getting up close with our machinery, and insights from senior leaders — to go-karting (yes, there was a trophy 🏆), bowling, putt putt, laser tag, and a good old BBQ — it was all about setting our apprentices up for success while having some fun along the way.

We’re proud to welcome the next generation of talent to Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia and can’t wait to see where their journey takes them.

Welcome to the team 👏

👍 Thumbs up from Vince at InVinceable Electrical!

Vince is officially on the tools with his new Hitachi ZX17U-5 Mini Excavator, ready to take on tight-access jobs across Western Australia with confidence.

Compact, reliable, and built to work hard where space is limited. The ZX17U-5 is a solid addition to the InVinceable Electrical fleet.
